March Madness Tournament Pass - $29. One payment unlocks unlimited boards for the March Madness tournament. Your players join free.
There will be a button to "Unlock Access" after you create your first board. Access is unlimited for the current season.

Yes, you can make edits after you create your game. To edit game settings, click on the edit icon in the top right corner of the game info or game grid cards. Note: Once you generate numbers for the board, only the host can make changes.
A board locks once the numbers have been set. At that point, only the host can make board updates.
As the host, you can assign numbers (0-9) to the rows and columns in two ways: click the edit icon on the game grid to manually enter or adjust the numbers, or use the "Randomize Numbers" button on the game page to automatically generate random numbers. Both methods work great—choose whichever you prefer! Only the host can make changes from that point.
Yes! Season access includes unlimited boards. Perfect for hosting multiple parties or events.
Share your game link or QR code. Players open the link, tap the squares they want, and enter their name and email — the squares are theirs right away. There's no account to create and no code to wait for. We email each player a confirmation with their squares and a link back to the board, so they can manage them from any device. If you set a board password, players need that too.
Yes. The quickest way is the link in your confirmation email — open it on the new device and you're back on your board. You can also open the game link, tap one of your squares, and enter the same email; we'll send you a 6-digit code to confirm it's you. Your squares are tied to your email, so they follow you from device to device.
Open the game link and tap any available square — tap several if you want more than one. Then enter your name and email, agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy, and hit claim. The squares are saved immediately, and a confirmation email follows with the details. You can also use "Continue with Google" instead. If that email address already has a Play Squares account, we'll ask for your password or email you a 6-digit code first, so nobody can claim squares as you. Players can join and pick squares up until the host generates numbers. Once numbers are set, only the host can make changes.
This is up to you as the host. We make it easy to see which players have the relevant squares for each game mode, but ultimately it's up to you.
Reversal scores are an optional feature that adds extra winners to your game. If enabled, the reverse score (swapping the digits) also wins. For example, if the score is 14-7, both (4, 7) and (7, 4) would win. This doubles the excitement and gives more players a chance to win!
Only for custom or untracked games. League games (NFL, NBA, NCAA) update automatically.
Absolutely! The app is fully mobile-optimized and works great on phones and tablets. It's perfect for in-person parties — players can scan QR codes and join games directly from their phones. The interface is designed mobile-first for the best experience.
Yes, an internet connection is required to create games, join games, and receive real-time updates. The app needs connectivity to fetch live scores and sync game state across all participants.
If you signed up with email and password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the sign-in page. If you signed up with Google, you'll need to reset your password through Google's account settings.
Currently, email changes need to be processed manually. Please contact us at playsmarttechnologyllc@gmail.com with your current email and the new email you'd like to use, and we'll help you update your account.
